Hola, chicas:

Después de mucho tiempo, os traemos la tercera parte de nuestra particular guía de Barcelona.
A este paso, se nos va a juntar con el viaje del año que viene.

Día 5.

Comenzamos el día visitando el Aquarium.
Marian hizo fotos de peces como si no hubiera un mañana.
Lo más impactante fue pasar por el famoso túnel acristalado. ¡Ves pasar los tiburones por encima de tu cabeza!

Aquí también picamos comprando la típica foto. Salimos muy bien, así que no nos pudimos resistir.

Comimos en el restaurante del Aquarium, y después, hicimos un crucero turístico.
La experiencia fue un poco diferente.
Hasta ahora, los cruceros turísticos que habíamos hecho, siempre habían sido en ríos o lagos. Pero esta vez, era en el mar.
Y aunque sea el Mediterráneo, el oleaje aquel día se notaba.
Tardamos un poco en acostumbrarnos al movimiento del barco, pero después disfrutamos de las vistas.
El día estaba nublado, no sabíamos si iba a llover. Además, hacía algo de viento, así que nos quedamos en la parte cubierta del barco.
Pero hubo algún valiente que se quedó en la parte descubierta.
Aquí también compramos foto de recuerdo.

El crucero duró como hora y media.
Después, estuvimos dando una vuelta por el puerto, visitando un mercadillo callejero.
Había muchas cosas de antigüedades.

Día 6.

Comenzamos este día cogiendo el bus turístico desde la estación de Sants.
Tuvimos que dar la vuelta a la estación para encontrar la parada. Fue un poco lioso.
Pero merecía la pena, porque estaba incluido en nuestra tarjeta turística. Si no, el billete para todo el día cuesta unos 29€.
Incluye audioguía en varios idiomas.

Nos bajamos en la parada más cercana a la Sagrada Familia, que fue lo que visitamos a continuación. Casi podríamos decir que este día lo dedicamos a ver la obra de Antoni Gaudí. Bueno, sólo una pequeña parte.



Esta visita no estaba incluida en la Barcelona Pass. Compramos la entrada online, y con varios días de antelación. Puedes elegir el horario en que la visitarás.



A las dos nos impactó. Marox la había visto por fuera, pero no por dentro.
Como sabréis, aún está sin terminar. ¿Por falta de presupuesto o porque ningún arquitecto se ha atrevido?
Desde luego, no decepciona.
Aquí también hicimos fotos a rabiar.

Después, comimos en un restaurante que hay cerca.

A continuación, nos dirigimos hacia el Parque Güell, también en el bus turístico, y nos bajamos en la parada más cercana.



Aun así, tuvimos que caminar bastante, y sobre todo, subir una cuesta que creíamos que no terminaba nunca.
Cuando llegamos, resulta que las entradas estaban agotadas. ¡¡Noooo!! Así que ya sabéis, reservad la entrada con antelación Sí o Sí.




Pero como hay una parte del parque que se puede ver gratis, fue lo que hicimos.
También nos gustó mucho.
Había vendedores ambulantes de souvenirs, bebidas, etc.




Hacía mucho calor, así que después de visitar el parque, hicimos una parada en una cafetería y nos tomamos un batido fresquito.

Día 7.

Día de regreso a casa.
Salimos del hotel con tiempo a la estación de Sants. Sí, la teníamos enfrente, pero como estaba siempre tan llena y teníamos que pasar los controles de seguridad... Y es que una estación de tren y autobuses en una ciudad tan grande como Barcelona tiene casi tanto tráfico como un aeropuerto.
Pues eso, que nos llevó un rato.

Una vez en el tren, nos esperaban otras 6 horas de viaje.
Este tren sí que tenía enchufes bajo los asientos, que me parece una idea genial.
También había vagón restaurante, que nos vino genial para poder comprar algo de comer. 

La única pega del viaje de vuelta es que el aire acondicionado estaba fortísimo, y Marian se agarró un buen catarro.

After quite a long time, here we are with the third part of our own Barcelona travel guide.
At this rate, it will blend into next summer's holidays.

Day 5.

Our day began with a visit to the Aquarium. Marian was in her element taking photos as if there was no tomorrow. Highlights of the visit were walking along the glass tunnel with all the fish around you. You have sharks swimming past your head!




We also took the bait and bought the tourist photo as a souvenir. We turned out fine, so why say no.

We had lunch at the Aquarium restaurant and then headed to the marina for the Las Golondrinas pleasure boat trip.
This time the experience was somewhat different. So far, all the tourist boats we've been on were on rivers or lakes. But this time, it was the sea. And even though this was the Mediterranean, the waters were rough that day.
It took us a while to get used to the movement of the ship, but after that, we enjoyed the views.
It was cloudy that day, and we didn't know if it would rain afterwards. Besides, it was a bit windy, so we stayed in the covered part of the boat.
But there were some brave people who decided to go upstairs.
We also bought the tourist photo here.

The cruise lasted about one hour and a half.
Then we took a walk along the marina, visiting a street market. There were many antiques.

Day 6.

We started our day taking the tourist bus from Sants station.
We had to walk around the station to get to the stop. It was a bit tricky.
But it was worth it, because this ride was included in our tourist card. Without it, the all-day ticket would be about €29.
It includes an audioguide in several languages.




We stopped at the station nearest the Sagrada Familia, which is what we visited next.
We could say that we dedicated this day to see Antoni Gaudí's work. Well, just a small part, anyway.




This visit wasn't included with the Barcelona Pass. We had bought the ticket online a few days earlier, at the beginning of our stay. You can choose the time you will be visiting it.

We were really shocked with the visit. Marox had seen it before, but just outside, not the inside.
As you will probably know, it's still unfinished. Lack of budget? Lack of a brave architect?
It won't disappoint you, anyway.

Then we had lunch at a restaurant in front of it.

Next, we took the tourist bus again to get to Güell Park, and we got off at the nearest stop.




However, we had to walk for quite a long time, and we walked uphill for longer than we expected.
And when we finally got there, all the tickets were sold out. Noooo!!!! So DO book your tickets in advance.
But since there's quite a big area of the park you can visit for free, that was what we did.
We liked it very much.
There were people selling souvenirs and cold drinks too. 
 




It was very hot, so after visiting the park, we stopped at a café, and we had a cold milkshake.

Day 7.

Time to go back home.
We checked out from the hotel to Sants station in time.
Yes, the station is in front of the hotel, but as it's always full of people and we had to pass the safety controls...
In such a big city as Barcelona, a bus and train station has as much traffic as an airport.
In other words, we had to be patient.

Once in the train, the journey took us 6 hours.
This train did have plugs under seats, which is great. It also had a restaurant, perfect to grab a bite.

The only con was the air conditioning. It was so cold that Marian got a cold.
